Think it's gonna happen? Read this:

In an interview with Kevin Munroe, he stated that he would like to direct a possible sequel, possibly involving the return of the Shredder. He is already signed on to do a sequel, but stated that "it's going to depend" on the "box office at this point". Mirage Studios' Steve Murphy has posted a message on his blog saying that a TMNT sequel is looking very likely. In July 2008, Playmates updated their official site announcing that Mirage Licensing is in negotiations with several companies about a new TMNT movie for 2010. Peter Laird has talked about how they are exploring different options on how to do the next film such as a live-action film with CGI turtles, with hopes of Sarah Michelle Gellar and Chris Evans reprising their roles in real life.

Awesome! I really hope that does happen. 2010.....TOO LONG!!!! I hope it's better than the last movie. The return of Shredder should make things interesting. I want to see a big showdown between Splinter and Shredder. With present day computer effects that would be oh so sweet!

And personally, where the plot for TMNT is concerned, I'D like to see them follow up on whatever KARAI was hinting at at the end of the 2K7 movie. You know, the bit about "Further business with familiar faces from your past". As much as I hgate Shredder, and cringe at the idea of HIM being resurrected (for what will seem like the umpteenth time!), that really, REALLY intrigued me, and would like to see it followed UP on.

I also picked up on that hint from the last movie. Well, I guess we can just try and find out more info.

I got that the second she said it. she said it and I shot up and I was like 'Yup. Shredder'z back.' And then when Raph waz like 'She doezn't mean....'

So did I. Heck, you'd practically have to be BRAIN-dead (or NOT know the TMNT storyline) NOT to!

Anyway, just HOW they're going to accomplish THAT little feat (PROVIDED that THAT's the one that Peter eventually approves), I don't know. Make use of the idea in the "Worms of Madness" story from the comics, maybe, but I have absolutely NO clue. I guess that we'll just have to wait and see.

Although I kinda hope that they go with something else. I hate Shredder WORSE than I hate Bishop, Stockman and Karai all rolled into ONE! (IF THAT'S even POSSIBLE!)

Although I'll have to admit that the MOVIE Karai WASN'T all THAT bad. I liked HER better than the one in the Toon, anyway.

I like the one in the 'toon better. I think she has more personality than the movie Karai.

Hmmm, yeah, true. I just like the MOVIE Karai because she WAS a bit NICER than the toon Karai. I guess the Toon one being so stupid toward the guys after what she found out what Saki/Ch'rell was REALLY like and THEN taking on the "Shredder" armor/mantle herself to try to destory Leo and the family is what turned me SOLIDLY against HER!

Although I WILL admit she REDEEMED herself a bit in my eyes at the end of the "Lost Episodes" of the series. AFTER her usual bout of arrogance toward the guys, of course.

Maybe because she's slightly older in the movie?

I hope there will be more Mikey and Donnie characterization in the next movie. In the recent CGI movie, they definetly took a back seat to Leo and Raph.

TMNT was a two turtle movie. They screwed the other characters.

Who didn't?

But still, Mikey was funny.

I want more Donny!

Hopefully if they make a new TMNT movie they will fix the flaws that this one had.
