Personally, I think it'll do well. And as much as I, too, liked FF, I'll be glad to see the guys and Splinter get back to their OWN time-period. Er, well, even if it IS a year after they left!

About the only thing that I DON'T really like is the idea of Viral sticking HER megabytes into the whole thing and scattering Splinter's atoms/data-bits all over cyberspace, or whatever. IMHO, they COULD have done WITHOUT that idea! Just bring them back home, and let them pick up from where they left off before their jaunt into the future. And by THAT, I mean beating up on the bad guys!

Anyway, that's MY 2 Martian Gold Cents. Laughing

Well, MAYBE she WON'T be in the series long before our dear Donnie figured out a way to PERMANENTLY DELETE her sorry butt and get Splinter back.

Although HOW they're going to manage THAT with only a 13-episode season, I don't know. Hopefully, though, they will, and there will be a slightly LONGER Season 8 in the near future.

I hope.

I would tend to agree, but I THINK that I read SOMEWHERE that they were doing it THIS way to see how things went and THEN, if there was enough fan-support (or good, positive ratings; whichever) for it, then Season 8 would more than likely have MORE eps in it. Likely the 26 eps per season that we've become USED to.

Basically, I think they want to feel things out after Fast Forward. But don't quote me on that, okay? I'm NOT 100% sure WHY they're doing it yet.

I'm happy to hear that Baxter Stockman will get a larger role than usual in Back to the Sewers. He is one of the more interesting characters.
